    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to produce a positive side electrode and a negative side electrode for a plastic battery at a time, by covering a conductor to be the negative side electrode with a filter with a specific scope of filtering capacity when a positive side electrode is produced. CONSTITUTION:In an electrolytic cell 1, an electrolytic polymerization solution 2 is housed. In the solution 2, a collector 3 is placed, and at the opposite position of the collector 3, a conductor 4 is furnished which is covered by a filter 5. Furthermore, at the collector 3 side, a leading wire 7a connected to the positive side of a DC power source 6 is furnished, while at the conductor 4 side, a leading wire 7b connected to the negative side of the DC power source 6 is arranged. By applying a DC current between the both bodies 3 and 4 to carry out the electrolytic polymerization, a membrane of a conductive highpolymer material is separated at the collector 3 side, while a membrane of lithium is formed at the conductor 4 side through the filter 5. As the filter 5, a filter paper or a porous filter with a filtering time between 100sec and 350sec is used.

The polymn. is effected by disposing a 1st transparent substrate formed with an ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) thin film on the surface as the deposition electrode 3 and the counter electrode 3 formed of an Al sheet so as to face each other and connecting the deposition electrode 3 as an anode and the counter electrode 4 as a cathode by lead wires 5 to a constant voltage/constant current power source 6. The connection of the lead wires 5 is then switched to impress the voltage of reverse directions to both the electrodes 3, 4 to execute the dedoping of the film on the deposited electrode 1 obtd. by the polymn. The dedoping is executed before the charge quantity for polymn. attains the prescribed quantity at this time. The high-polymer thin film of the prescribed charge quantity for polymn. is formed by the repetition of the above-mentioned operations. The life is improved in this way.

    • PURPOSE:To generate polypyrrole having good film quality and high conductivity and obtain a plastic cell having a high positive electrode capacity per area under the low-temperature condition by using acetonitrile as an organic solvent, dissolving pyrrole as a conductive polymer material in the organic solvent, and feeding a current to an electrolysis polymerization liquid dissolved with an electrolyte at the specific temperature condition for electrolysis polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A current collector is connected to the positive electrode side of a power supply, a conductor facing this current collector is connected to the negative electrode side of the power supply, the current collector and the said conductor are immersed in an electrolysis polymerization liquid, and a constant current is fed between them for electrolysis polymerization. Acetonitrile is used as an organic solvent, and pyrrole as a conductive polymer material is dissolved in the organic solvent. A current is fed to an electrolysis polymerization liquid dissolved with an electrolyte at the temperature condition of -40--15 deg.C for electrolysis polymerization. When the electrolysis polymerization temperature becomes-15 deg.C, the speed of polymerization reaction is made slow, and polypyrrole having good film quality and high conductivity is generated, thus the temperature is kept at -15 deg.C or lower. At the temperature lower than -40 deg.C, the organic solvent is frozen, thus the temperature is kept at -40 deg.C or higher.

The deposition electrode 1 formed by depositing Pt by the evapo ration on a transparent substrate consisting of glass, etc. and the counter electrode 2 consisting of Au, Pt, etc., are spaced at 5-30mm and are disposed to face each other into such cell. The area of the counter electrode 2 as the cathode is specified to 1.2-3 times the area of the deposition electrode 1 as the anode and the electrical electrolysis is executed to form the thin polymer film of the oxidation polymerizable material as the electrochromic color forming material to 0.1-0.2mu thickness on the surface of the deposition electrode 1.

    • PURPOSE:To make mounting of lead wires easy and to increase mechanical strength of an electrode by forming a projection in each of the first sheet-like current collector made of conductive material and the second sheet-like current collector made of aluminum, and alternately stacking them, then connecting the projecting pieces with a belt-like corrugate lead plate. CONSTITUTION:The first 0.4mm thick current collector 10a and the second 0.4mm thick current collector 10b are formed with an aluminum sheet. Projections 2a, 2b are formed at their each end. The first and the second current collectors 10a and 10b are immersed in a solution except for their projections 2a, 2b, then they are electrolyzed to obtain the first current collector 10a on which polypyrrole 3 is formed and the second current collector 10b on which lithium is formed. They are stacked with a separator S made of polypropylene interposed so that projections 2a, 2b are alternately located. A belt-like currugated lead plate 4 is fixed to each group of projections 2a and 2b. Each of the lead plate 4 is connected onto a positive side and a negative side of a voltage supply source. By connecting with the corrugated lead plate, a lead wire mounting job is made easy, and press-fixing of the current collector is made elastic and strong.
