    • PURPOSE:To increase the specific gravity of hollow fine spheres of silica, and enable uniform mixing in resin or slurry, by coating the hollow fine spheres with SiO2 or borosilicate glass. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of hollow fine spheres of silica are coated with SiO2 or borosilicate glass by a sol-gel method, thus forming hollow fine spheres 4 whose specific gravity is increased. Said spheres 4 are uniformly dispersed in slurry 3 whose main component is synthetic resin or glass ceramics, thereby forming an insulating layer or a green sheet 1. By laminating the green sheets, a low permitivity multilayered circuit board is constituted. When the density of the green sheet obtained in the above manner is measured about a conventional article 6, in the front part (2m front) and in the rear part (2m rear) where the central part of the sheet is set as a center, the density us high in the front part, and decreases in the rear part on account of the influence of the hollow fine spheres of silica. On the other hand, in the case of an example in this invention, the density of the green sheet is increased by the effect of increase of shell thickness of the hollow fine spheres of silica, and the uniform distribution is obtained over the length of 4m.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas purifier designed so that photocatalyst activity (photocatalyst performance) of photocatalyst can be recognized with eyes, and having excellent function to decompose/eliminate harmful components in gas. SOLUTION: The gas purifier has a flow passage through which the gas can be flown, is structured so as to shield at least part of the flow passage to keep the photocatalyst, and is provided with at least a photocatalyst holding part designed so that at least part of the photocatalyst is visible. The photocatalyst holding part is provided with a gas permeable means at the inlet and the outlet of the passage. The method for regenerating the gas purifier comprises taking out the photocatalyst in the gas purifier kept in the photocatalyst keeping part from the photocatalyst keeping part, burning the taken-out photocatalyst so as to express and/or activate the photocatalyst activity of the photocatalyst followed by putting the photocatalyst back into the photocatalyst keeping part.
