    • PURPOSE:To obtain a firm and stable head touch by encircling a magnetic head with a surrounding wall, sucking air within the surrounding wall due to a lowering of the atmospheric pressure attending upon an increase of airflow speed and producing a negative pressure therein. CONSTITUTION:A partition frame 17 having the surrounding wall 16 surrounding all over a circle with the center of the magnetic head 12 is provided, and a space 19 surrounding the magnetic head 12 is formed by the partition frame 17 and a magnetic sheet 11. The surrounding wall 16 is positioned in an airflow rotating with the rotating magnetic sheet 11, and notches 20 are provided in such a position respectively that the airflow speed is changed and then the changed airflow speed is approximately the max. The airflow 1 generated with the rotation of the magnetic sheet 11 flows round along the outer periphery of the surrounding wall 16 of the partition frame 17, and the flow speed is increased to cause the lowering of the atmospheric pressure, so that the air is sucked out through the notches 20, resulting in the negative pressure in the space 19. By this method, the magnetic sheet 11 is sucked to be forcibly brought into contact with the magnetic head 12, thus obtaining the stable head touch.

    • PURPOSE:To instantaneously switch a recording face contactlessly with a floppy disk by inclining guide plates to generate negative pressure and positive pressure, and attracting and energizing the floppy disk to either one of magnetic disks to record data on both sides of the floppy disk. CONSTITUTION:When the guide plates 14-17 are inclined so as to be approached to the rotating floppy disk 11 in a direction from the upstream side to the downstream side, positive pressure is generated among the guide plates 14-17 and the floppy disk 11. When the guide plates 14-17 are inclined so as to be separated from the rotating floppy disk 11 in the direction from the upstream side to the downstream side, negative pressure is generated among the guide plates 14-17 and the floppy disk 11. Thereby, positive pressure is generated in one face of the disk 11, negative pressure is generated on the other face and the floppy disk 11 is attracted or energized to either one of the magnetic heads 12, 13 opposed to both sides of the disk 11 to record data on both the sides of the disk 11. Consequently, the recording faces can be instantaneously switched contactlessly with the floppy disk 11.

    • PURPOSE:To record, reproduce and eliminate satisfactorily an information signal by recording the information signal with a first head in which a scanning width is narrower than the width of a guard band, reproducing it with a second head width than the width of the guard bank and causing an eliminating current to flow to both heads and eliminating the information signal. CONSTITUTION:On tracks T1 and T2 for the picture signal of a magnetic disk 200, gap parts 111 and 112 of a thin film head 110 for the picture signal are positioned. In this condition, the disk 200 is rotated, a current is caused to flow at the coil of respective gap parts 111 and 112 of the head 110 and the picture signal is recorded. At this time, a guard band G is formed between both tracks T1 and T2. In order to reproduce the picture signal, the same position condition as recording is obtained and the picture signal is obtained from tracks T1 and T2 by the gap parts 111 and 112. At the time of the recording, execution is performed with the head in which the scanning width is narrower than the width of the band G, and at the time of the reproducing, execution is performed with the head wider than the width of the band G. Further, at the time of eliminating, the eliminating is executed without fail by causing an eliminating current to flow at both heads.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a flaw by providing a through hole connected to a negative pressure region at the back side in the magnetic sheet turning direction of a magnetic head between a regulating plate and a magnetic sheet so as to decrease a sliding resistance between the sheet and the regulating plate, thereby reducing a load torque. CONSTITUTION:The backward side of the magnetic head 2 far away from a contact point in the magnetic sheet turning direction rear side has a negative pressure region where the pressure is apt to be lower than the atmospheric pressure by the relation of the air flow, but since the through hole 4 connected to the negative pressure region is provided to the regulating plate 3, the air flows from the through hole 4, the negative pressure is released and the pressure is equal to the atmospheric pressure. Thus, the magnetic sheet 1 is not attracted by the regulated plate 3 nor slided, and the slide resistance is not increased to reduce the load torque. Further, the generation of flaw owing to the contact between the regulating plate 3 and the magnetic sheet 1 is suppressed as well.
