    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which discharge before/after transfer at the time of primary transfer is effectively prevented and the full color image of an excellent image quality is formed by excellent primary transfer and secondary transfer in a color laser printer to form a color image by an intermediate transfer system. SOLUTION: Toner having a reverse polarity because an additive having the reverse polarity is added as the component of toner is stuck to an unexposed part in the vicinity of a boundary between an exposed part and the unexposed part at a photoreceptive drum 19 by an edge effect at a developing time, and next, the photoreceptive drum 19 before the transfer is irradiated with the light of a discharge lamp 8. Thus, a potential difference between the surface potential of the photoreceptive drum 19 and transfer bias is reduced, so that the discharge before/after the transfer at the time of the primary transfer is prevented, and also the entering of the light of the discharge lamp 8 is prevented by the sticking of the toner having the reverse polarity, so that the scattering of the toner at the primary transfer time is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of preventing a developer carrier from depressing a photoreceptor at least while a developer cartridge is detached from a developing device. SOLUTION: A developing device support plate 91 holds a manual operation member 95. Under a condition where an inner cylindrical body for communicating/blocking between a developing device 8 and a toner unit 11 is located at an opening position (a condition in which the developing device 8 and toner unit 11 communicate with each other), the manual operation member 95 forms a guide posture for guiding a coupling projection 83 of a shutter operation part 80 in a depressing direction in which a development roller 66 depresses a photosensitive drum 6. On the other hand, under a condition where the inner cylindrical body is located at a closing position (a condition in which the developing device 8 and toner unit 11 are blocked), the manual operation member 95 forms a non-guide posture extending in the direction intersecting the depressing direction. Accordingly, the coupling projection 83 is guided by the manual operation member 95 forming the guide posture, allowing the developing device 8 to be favorably moved in the depressing direction.
