      SOLUTION: The earthquake-proof lock system for the drawer is equipped with a casing 20, and a lock member 21 which protrudes sideways from the casing 20 by shaking generated at the time of an earthquake or carrying and so forth. In such an earthquake-proof lock system for the drawer, the casing 20 is formed to have the same dimension as a gap between the side plate 10 of the external box body 8 and a guide rail 12, or smaller dimension. In this case, the side plate 10 of the external box body 8 is a constituent member of a drawer system 4. The guide rail 12 is bridged in the longitudinal direction in the external box body 8 in a manner to movably guide a side frame 13 in the longitudinal direction. In this case, the side frame 13 is provided on the side surface of the drawer 9 which is a constituent member of the drawer device 4.
