    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small galvanomirror and an optical switch. SOLUTION: The optical switch is supported by a torsion bar and has a movable plate which is oscillatable by using the torsion bar as a rotation axis. A mirror which reflects a light beam is provided on one end of the movable plate, and a permanent magnet is provided on the other end. Furthermore, a hole through which the light beam passes is formed in the movable plate, and the electromagnet is arranged oppositely to the permanent magnet. The galvanomirror is arranged to switch the direction of the light beam in such a manner that the mirror is irradiated with the light beam at the fixed position of one side of the movable plate to reflect the light beam in a prescribed position by oscillating the movable plate in two fixed positions by ON-OFF of an electromagnet, and the radiated light beam directly advances at the other fixed position without entering the mirror.
