摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cycloalkyldiaryphosphine in which the 2-position of a cycloalkyl is substituted with an alkyl by an industrially readily handleable method in a short process in a high yield by reacting a lithium diaryl phosphide with a cycloalkylsulfonate in an ether-based solvent. SOLUTION: A lithium diaryl phosphide of the formula LiPR1R2 (R1 and R2 are each a substituted or nonsubstituted aryl) is reacted with a cycloalkylsulfonate of the formula: R3OSO2R4 (R3 is a cycloalkyl substituted with an alkyl at the 2-position; R4 is a lower alkyl or phenyl substituted with a lower alkyl) in an ether-based solvent (a cyclic alkyl monoether preferably such as tetrahydrofuran, etc.), to give the objective compound of the formula. Preferably lithium diphenyl phosphide is reacted with menthyl mesylate or menthyl tosylate to give d-neomenthyldiphenylphosphine. The reaction temperature is preferably 25-35 deg.C.

The copolymer is obtained, for example, by copolymerizing (A) 0.1-50 wt.% vinyl-based monomer having the group of formula I, (B) 0.1-30 wt.% vinyl-based monomer having the group of formula II and (C) a vinyl-based monomer copolymerizable with these monomers. The component A is preferably a monomer of formula III [R is H, methy] or ethyl; (n) is 1-6]. Preferably, γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane or the like is used as the component B.

Concrete examples of the 9C saturated fatty acid having an alkyl group as a side chain and other than 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid are 2-methyloctanoic acid, 2-ethylheptanoic acid, etc. It is especially preferably to use a fatty acid having >=2 alkyl side chains such as 2,2,4,4-tetramethylpentanoic acid, 2,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid and 4- ethyl-2-methylhexanoic acid.

The vapor is discharged from each of the tops of the first column 71 and a second column 72, and the vapor is condensed to turn it into liquid, and the liquid is discharged as a distillate to the outside, and a part of the distillate is returned to each of the first column 71 and the second column 72. When the raw liquid containing plural components is fed into the first column 71, two distillates and a bottom product are obtained at the top and at the bottom, respectively. Since only one distillation column 21 is needed for distilling the raw liquid, the distillation device is miniaturized.
