    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage mode feedback switch adjusting circuit which is able to automatically come in and go out of a burst mode.
      SOLUTION: A switch adjuster makes a pulse-width modulation oscillator inactive by means of a fixed minimum non-zero duty cycle oscillator and provides a minimum ON-cycle to a power source switch in a switch oscillator, when a load current is low. This, further, lowers a required duty cycle generated by the pulse-width modulator. When the pulse-width modulator is driven so low that the zero-duty cycle is required, a digital logic receiving a duty cycle of the pulse-width modulator instructs the switch adjuster to enter the burst mode and to stop operation. This principle can be applied to either a non-modulation switch adjuster or a slightly altered synchronization switch adjuster. Additionally, the principle can be applied to both of a step-down configuration and a step-up configuration.
