SOLUTION: The vending machine has: a commodity storage 3 formed with an opening forward; a commodity storage rack 7 disposed inside the commodity storage 3, storing a plurality of commodities with the commodities arranged side by side in a back-and-forth direction, and dispensing the commodity from the front end; a front face door 4 having a transparent window part 4a allowing visual recognition of the commodity S inside the commodity storage rack 7, and closing the opening of the commodity storage 3; and a cooling/heating means 10 circulating the cold air or the warm air inside the commodity storage 3 to cool or heat the commodity S. The cooling/heating means 10 has: a blowoff duct 12 blowing off the cold air or the warm air toward the commodity S stored on the front side of the commodity storage rack 7; and a suction duct 19 disposed between the commodity storage rack 7 and a side wall of the commodity storage 3, and provided with a suction port 19a sucking the cold air or the warm air, near a front end part of the commodity storage rack 7.
