    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining simply and quickly dissolved oxygen gas in an organic compound which is liquid at ordinary temperatures. SOLUTION: In order to determine a concentration of dissolved oxygen gas in an organic compound of a boiling point of 30-250 deg.C which is liquid at ordinary temperatures, a gas chromatograph in a constitution having a precolumn 3, a gas pass switch cock 4, an analysis column 5 and a detector 6 connected in this order is used. While the organic compound in an injected sample is kept in the precolumn 3, the oxygen gas is transferred from the precolumn 3 to the analysis column 5 and detector 6, and quantitatively analyzed. Thereafter, the cock 4 is switched thereby connecting a terminal end at the exit side of the precolumn 3 to a gas pass communicating to the outside of a system of the chromatograph, and also connecting a terminal end at the entrance side of the analysis column 5 to an auxiliary carrier gas pass 8. Then, a column thermostatic bath 2 is raised in temperature, thereby discharging the organic compound in the precolumn 3 to the outside of the system.
