    • PURPOSE:To enable a relatively light soft hose to be used by supplying a pressure working medium to an inner pipe of a double pipe to rotate a turbine provided on the bottom of the sea and a water sending impeller with the turning force for sending the sea water from the outside of the inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a wave force pump 1 is operated to supply pressure water to an inner pipe 3 of a double pipe and a pipe 6, the pressure water rotates a drive turbine 20 of a pump 4 to be discharged from a hose 12. The sea water to be taken in by this operation is taken in by the pump 4 to be sent to the destination through an outer pipe 2 of the double pipe. Such pressure water for power, integration of water sending hose with the double pipe, insertion a pipe having the specific gravity heavier than the sea water into the inner pipe 3 of the double pipe against the external force such as ocean current, tide, etc., restrain the breakage, washing-away, etc., of the pipe. A relatively light soft hose such as polyethylene pipe and anticorrosive materials can be used and the water sending pipe can be laid semipermanently and relatively economically.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a set generator output without requiring operator's flow rate monitoring operation by comparing a flow rate value which is calculated by a flow rate converter with a detected flow rate value. CONSTITUTION:A measured value from a dam level gauge 1 is converted 4 into a DC voltage signal Qb, which is supplied to an effective head converter 5. The measurement value obtained by a flow meter 2 simultaneously with the measurement is converted 6 into a DC voltage signal Qa, which is supplied to the converter 5 and a comparator 8. When the signals Qa and Qb are supplied to the converter 5, an effective head value which is calculated on the basis of a specific program is supplied to the flow rate converter 7. The opening degree value from a guide vane opening degree gauge 3, on the other hand, is supplied to the converter 7. Those signals Qa and Qb are calculated as a flow rate Qt on the basis of the specific program of the converter 7 and compared with the signal Qa by the comparator 8. When there is no abnormality in a channel, the signals Qa and Qt are nearly equal to each other. When the channel is blocked, on the other hand, Qt>Qa and the comparator 8 outputs a signal corresponding to the difference to make the indication 10 of the abnormality in the channel.
