    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing a fiber (fibril) of polybenzazole having a micro thickness and to obtain a polybenzazole sheet which is unconventionally thin and has excellent mechanical performance by using the obtained fibril.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing a polybenzazole fibril comprises mixing and stirring a solution of polybenzazole in a solvent in a coagulant of polybenzazole to form a polybenzazole fibril. The polybenzazole sheet is obtained by sheet making from the obtained polybenzazole fibril. The polybenzazole sheet is obtained by applying a resin to the polybenzazole sheet.
