    • PURPOSE:To enable a smoke insulatio net to be easily cleaned while the net is not removed from a ventilation pipe in a case of a vent hole with the smoke insulation net of a ventilation pipe for an underground tank by installing the net at its lower section in such a way that no projection is made on the attaching surface of the pipe in the lower side of the net. CONSTITUTION:A smoke insulation net 11 is installed at its lower side by fitting a hold spring 13 onto a spring groove 9 on the attachment 7 to a ventilation pipe. The attachment 7 is screwed in with the external thread of the ventilation pupe 3. This configuration does not include any projected portion over the connecting section B with the smoke insulation net 11. Accordingly, this configuration enables the smoke insulation net 11 to be cleaned by pulling the net 11 down with the holding spring 13 removed. This configuration enables the smoke insulation net to be easily cleaned without removing the net from the pipe.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain storage in a rock bed, capable of low temperature storing, by introducing a low temperature ambient air in intermediate sensors of the spring and autumn seasons and the winter season into an underground rock cave under natural ventilating action to cool a rock bed around the rock cave so that cold accumulation is established. CONSTITUTION:A cave 1 formed in a rock bed 2 is provided with an indroduction/air-feed passage 3 and an air-discharge passage 4 which are communicated with the outside. The cold ambient air in the intermediate seasons of the spring and autumn seasons and the winter season is introduced into the cave 1 through the passage 3, and after flowing through an air-communication passage 9 and a shaft 5, is discharged through the air-discharge passage 4. In such a phase the cold air establishes cold accumulation in the rock bed 2, and a part of the cold air cools the inside of a storage 8 through a partition wall 7. Further, when the temperature of the inside of the strage 8 is higher than that of the ambient air in the winter season, a shut-off gate 6 is opened. The draft force in the shaft 5 may be used as a ventilating force for the cold air.
