    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy judgment of whether a leak detector is operating normally or not by providing a means to hold an instantaneous leakage current value as maximum value when the leak detector outputs a detection signal. SOLUTION: When a leak detector 3 detects a leakage current, a signal is outputted from an external output 4, and the value of the leakage current measured by a measuring section 2-1 is held as maximum value by a maximum value holding means 2-2. Therefore, this maximum value is an instantaneous leakage current value when the leak detector 3 is starts to work. A display means 2-3 displays the instantaneous leakage current value and the maximum value. When the leak detector 3 starts to work, a person in charge of inspection reads the maximum value from the display means 2-3 and compares the value with an action sensitivity value of the leak detector 3. When the value is smaller than the action sensitivity value, the person in charge can judge that the leak detector 3 malfunctions. When the value is larger than the action sensitivity value, he can judge that the leak detector 3 operates normally and also can learn the state of leakage by reading the instantaneous leakage current value.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a circuit breaker in which a test circuit surely operates while being inversely connected and an electromagnetic device is not burned and damaged even if a test button is kept pressed and which secures desired reliability without increasing the number of part items and its manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: This circuit breaker 1 is equipped with a zero-phase current transformer which detects zero-phase current, an amplifier for amplifying the secondary outputs of the zero-phase current transformer, an electromagnet device 4 that drives a plunger 3 by means of the amplifier, a return spring 5 which allows the plunger 3 to return, a display device 6 which displays any failure in conjunction with the operation of the electromagnet device 4, and a switching mechanism 7 which turns on and off current to a main circuit. The display device 6 has a display button 6a via which the occurrence of any failure is displayed interlocking with the electromagnet device 4, and the display button 6a is energized upward by the arm of the return spring 5 which is locked to the plunger 3. A test switch is provided in a test circuit 8 and comprises a movable contact plate 9, a fixed contact plate 10 opposite to the movable contact plate 9, and a test button 11 for pressing the movable contact plate 9.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a test circuit of simple constitution for a circuit breaker used in a single-phase three-wire distribution line and provided with a neutral line open phase protecting function. CONSTITUTION: In an open phase protecting circuit 13 of a circuit breaker 6 used in a single-phase three-wire distribution line, abnormal voltage generated by an open phase of an N-phase (neutral line) is detected in a detecting circuit 11, and when decided generating abnormal voltage by comparing the detection voltage with the reference voltage Vs, a control signal is outputted to a thyristor 8 to actuate a trip device 4, so as to open a main circuit contact 3 separated. In the case of performing a test of this neutral line open phase protecting action, by a test circuit 15, abnormal voltage is applied simulatively relating to the open phase protecting circuit 13, to confirm the action.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable test circuit for an earth leakage breaker, in which the inner structure is simplified and there is no restriction on arrangement of parts, by providing specific constitution for the test circuit of an earth leakage breaker for the purpose of checking that the breaker breaks the main circuit normally at occurrence of any leak current. CONSTITUTION:This test circuit is provided with first and second switching elements (example: a photothyristor 3 and a TRIAC 4) for generating a pseudo leak current in a test circuit 1 by the operation of the test switch 2 of the test circuit 1, and a time limiting circuit 7 composed of third and fourth switching elements (example: PUT 5 and a thyristor 6). Hereby, the inside structure of the earth leakage breaker is simplified, and there is no restriction on arrangement of parts, and even in the case that it is placed in reverse connection, the test resistor does not heat abnormally, and its reliability improves, too.
