    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cable formed by collecting main wire materials and a core insertion pipe and capable of preventing generation of damages in the insertion pipe due to an external force, in the case of extending a cable without generating looseness due to the loss of integration of the main wire materials with the insertion pipe when the core insertion pipe enters in a clearance between the main wire materials to be prassed or crushed or when the whole of the cable is bent. SOLUTION: An insertion pipe 11 for a composite cable is formed with a spiral projection 13 having a height (h) in the periphery thereof, and at parts where main wire materials 15 and the projection are brought in contact with each other, the main wire materials having a diameter d1 and the insertion pipe having a diameter d2 are separated from each other, and at parts where other projection and the main wire materials are not brought into contact with each other, the main wire materials 15 and the insertion pipe 11 are integrally twisted with each other. Since this structure is repeated surely with a pitch of the spiral of the projection and a specified relation is set between d1, d3 and (h), insulating property and integration can be obtained at the same time, and the generation of bite and looseness is prevented, and a composite cable hard to be damaged by an external force can be obtained.
