    • PURPOSE:To perform normal extending operation by making resetting operation of a stepping type lens barrel driving mechanism before photographing and thereby releasing abnormal state even when the lens barrel is not in a regular initial state due to a shock etc. CONSTITUTION:When a current is applied to the coil 26 of a plunger 25, the plunger 25 is attracted and moved to the left and turns a reset lever 22 clockwise. A feeding claw 15 and a stopping claw 19 are turned to a position where they do not coupled with a cam ring 17. Even if the cam ring is in fed state, the cam ring 17 is returned to regular initial position, and normal photographing operation is executed. When the current to the plunger 25 is cut off, the reset lever 22, feeding claw 15 and stopping claw 19 are returned to initial positions by the energizing force of springs 24, 16, 21. Then, the current for lens barrel driving is applied to a rotor 1, and shifted to lens barrel extending operation.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce size and to improve imaging performance by constituting at least part of a reimaging system of an optical member of a distributed index type and constituting the optical member in such a manner that the refractive index distribution thereof satisfies the specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The reimaging system having a pupil dividing means 4 for dividing the pupil of an imaging lens to plural regions is disposed on the image plane side of an imaging lens 1. The plural secondary object images are formed from the luminous fluxes passing the pupil regions divided to a plurality of the imaging lens by the reimaging system. A photoelectric conversion measn having at least two photodetector arrays consisting of plural photodetectors is disposed near the image plane of the reimaging system. The focal position of the imaging lens is detected by the photoelectric conversion means from the relative positional relation of the plural secondary object images. At least pat of the reimaging system is constituted of the optical member of the distributed index and the optical member is so constituted that the refractive index distribution thereof satisfies the relation expressed by the equation. The remaining system which is permits the easy reduction of the size and the assembly with high accuracy and has the good optical performance is thus obtd.
