摘要： PURPOSE:To perform a reliable sealing, by a method wherein a small-sized part of an anvil is fitted in a medium sealing chamber transferring a blow power to a pile head, and a seal is attached between a large-sized part of an anvil and a device body to provide a pressure reducing system. CONSTITUTION:If an anvil head 11 is hit by pressure through falling of a hammer ram 26 lifted by a ram elevating mechanism 25n, its blow power compresses a pressure accumulating medium Y, such as silicone oil, in a medium sealing chamber 6 through an anvil 8. A pile chucked by a pile head retainer member 4 is driven by the pressure force, and thereby an excessive blow power is prevented from being momentarily exerted on the pile head. The anvil consists of a small-sized fitting part 8a and a large-sized fitting part 8b, a liquid tight seal is attached between the large-sized fitting part 8b and a driven body 7a, and a pressure, being exerted on the seal, decreases due to a difference in a pressure receiving area between the small-sized fitting part 8a and the large-sized fitting part 8b, which results in performing a reliable sealing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the magnitude of sound generated by drop hammer without weakening its impaction by a method in which a noncombustible fibrous substance is provided on the periphery of the drop hammer, and a sand iron layer is provided in the place to be struck by a weight at the lower end of the drop hammer. CONSTITUTION:The body 10 of a drop hammer H consists of a double cylinder with an outer cylinder 11 and an inner cylinder 12, and a noncombustible fibrous material 13, e.g., glass wool, asbestos, etc., is packed into between the outer and inner cylinders 11 and 12 for enclosing. The sound generated internally is absorbed by the fine fibers of the material 13 and the material is protected from combustion by frictional heat generated in vertically moving a weight 16. An anvil 14 to strike on the head of a pile P is fixed to the lower end of the cylinder 12 and a sand iron layer 15 is formed on the anvil 14. By this, the sound generated when the weight 16 is dropped is absorbed in the particles of the sand iron layer 15.

As a result, part of the working liquid in the liquid storage chamber 6 overflows into a recovery route 14. In this way, the working liquid is always maintained in the liquid storage chamber 6. When the lifted hammer body 15 drops spontaneously, its hammering power is transmitted to the hammer body 1 via the working liquid inside the liquid storage chamber 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make striking efficiency of pile driver remarkable in accordance with piled ground by providing pressure accumulator connecting through throttle valve to buffer solution pool for the pile driver that storess buffer solution above anvil. CONSTITUTION:When piston 1 wound up with wire 6 is dropped, it strikes the surface of buffer solution 4 in cylinder 2, compressing the latter to produce pressure, which makes the solution flow into pressure accumulator 8 through throttle valve 10 owing to the difference of pressure from accumulator 8. This slows down the rising speed of pressure. Then solution 4 swells and solution pressure begins to fall, but as buffer solution 4a found in accumulator 8 which compresses gaseous body sealed up in bladder 11 is kept in high pressure, solution 4a flows reversely from accumulator 8 into cylinder 2 through valve 10, which slows the falling speed of pressure of solution 4 in cylinder 2. Thus, by regulating the opening degree of valve 10 according to the ground, the size, duration and others of pressure are controlled and striking pile 7 is performed with excellent striking efficiency.
