摘要： PURPOSE: A safe sanitary treating agent, containing dehydroacetic acid or a salt thereof and trimethyl or benzyl surfactant, capable of preventing the unpleasant smell due to the staining of clothing of footwear, and having the antimicrobial and antifungal activity.
CONSTITUTION: A sanitary treating agent containing at least one of dehydroacetic acid or a salt thereof and a trimethyl or benzyl surfactant of formulaIor II (R is alkyl; X is halogen) as active constituent. The resultant sanitary treating agent exhibits improved antimicrobial and antifungal activity due to the synergistic effect of the two constituents. The agent is capable of preventing the unpleasant smell caused by the sweat, dirt, etc. and inhibits the growth of bacteria and molds by treating clothing, footwear, etc. to be in contact with the human skin. The agent is usually dissolved or dispersed in water or another solvent, and applied to underwear, socks, etc. by means of spraying, dipping, etc., and the dried product is worn.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily form the oxidation film excellent in electric insulating property on the surface of Al short fiber, by throwing Al short fiber in the chemical treating apparatus composed of conductive cathode vessel filled with chemical treating solution and making slender wire metal made of valve metal as anode and then, applying an electric current while stirring and floating the above fiber. CONSTITUTION:The chemical treating solution 5 composed of the water solution of boric acid, phthalic acid etc. or one kind salt of the above acid or these mixture, is filled in the vessel 1 having a good electric conductivity. Chemical treating apparatus is constructed by making the vessel 1 as cathode and slender wire made of needle-shaped valve metal as anode and also, equipping the stirrer 2 at the bottom. The Al short fiber 6 is made anodic state by the collision with the electrode 3 intermittently, by throwing many fibers 6 in the above apparatus and stirring and then, applying an electric current by using a constant voltage and current power source controlled by the direct current power source 4. Then, the fiber 6 is chemically treated by the solution 5 in cathodic state and Al oxide layer having a uniform thickness and good electric insulating property, is efficiently formed on the surface of each fiver 6.
