    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution capable of obtaining a trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment film with thick film and excellent corrosion resistance on zinc or zinc alloy plating at lower temperature and in a shorter period of time as compared to a conventional trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution.
      SOLUTION: The trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution for forming the trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment film on zinc or zinc alloy plating contains 0.2-10 g/L aromatic compounds having nitro group. In the method for forming the trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution on zinc or zinc alloy plating, the zinc or the zinc alloy plating is brought into contact with the trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution. Further, the trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment film is formed on the zinc or the zinc alloy plating obtained by using the trivalent chromate chemical conversion treatment solution.
