    • PURPOSE: To provide a fuel oil composition resistant to the crystallization at low temperature and having improved fluidity, by compounding a petroleum fuel oil containing a pour-point depressant with a higher amine modification product of a copolymer of an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and a lower monoolefin.
      CONSTITUTION: The objective fuel oil composition is prepared by compounding a petroleum fuel oil containing usually 5W5,000ppm of a pour-point depressant with usually 10W10,000ppm of a higher amine modification product of a copolymer of an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride and a lower monoolefin (usually having a molecular weight of 1,000W500,000). The above modification product is usually those containing (A) 20W80mol% of a monomer unit having higher alkyl group and bonded through an acid imide bond or acid amide bond, (B) 0W 60mol% of an α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer unit and (C) 20W80mol% of a lower monoolefin monomer unit.
