摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate transporting body capable of protecting a substrate from damages or breakage, and transporting the substrate. SOLUTION: A substrate storing body comprises a spring holding member provided on a supporting base via a plurality of springs while a substrate laminate held by supporting plates are placed on the supporting base, and a pressing means for pressing the spring holding member downward. The pressing means is equipped with a worm gear, a worm wheel engaged therewith, a first screw which has the same rotary shaft as that of the worm wheel, and is integrally rotated, and has a pulley, a second screw having a pulley connected by the pulley and a timing belt of the first screw, and a screw supporting member which is connected and fixed to the supporting base facing the upper surface of the spring holding member and has screw holes screwed to the first screw and the second screw. By rotating the worm gear, the first and second screws screwed to the screw holes are rotated to press the spring holding member, and the laminate is pressed and supported.
