    • PURPOSE:To improve the quality of polished face and the polishing efficiency by enabling automatic adjustment of the rolling width of polishing tool to the length stored in NC system through rotation of motor thereby enabling modification of the rolling width of polishing tool under operation. CONSTITUTION:Rotary motion of motor 29 is converted into linear motion to move a slide block 23 in the arrow 50 direction thus to move a movable block 16 perpendicularly against the axis through a guide of cam follower 21. Consequently, the eccentricity between the center Or of rotary tube 32 and the center Oc of connecting rod 18 is adjusted to set the initial length of rolling width A. Then the rolling width A to be determined by the surface condition of metal die, polishing efficiency and working accuracy, and the working conditions such as polishing pressure, polishing time, etc. are stored in NC system. Upon turning on, polishing pressure is applied onto the polishing tool to roll the polishing tool 43 through rolling mechanism 45A thus to adjust the rolling width A automatically and sequentially to the length stored in NC system through rotation of motor 29 resulting in smooth working face and improvement of polishing efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To make removal of angles in a work, having a hard fragile material- make, minimal areal plane surface, by grinding realizable without any damage to this plane surface, by utilizing both characteristics for micro-travel control and for easily obtaining high frequency inherent in a voice coil motor. CONSTITUTION:A movable part 18 is attached to a moving coil 17 inside a voice coil motor. And, a work 22 to be set to the tip of a holder 23 is forcibly pressed to an abrasive cloth 20 on a polishing table 19 under the specified load and thereby in a state of being sunk, the polishing table 19 performs a reciprocating rectilinear motion in both directions, by means of the voice coil motor whereby edge-chamfering for the work takes place. In this case, both characteristics for micro-travel control and for easily obtaining high frequency inherent in the voice coil motor are utilized so that the work having a hard fragile material- make, minimal areal plane surface can be polished for edge removal without any damage to this plane surface.

    • PURPOSE:To perform the smooth edging by providing a switch for detecting the passing of a cutter to be grinded such as a cutter for wood work then driving the reciprocal controller forwardly/reversely thus matching the grinding point of the rough grindstone wheel and the polishing point of the finish grindstone wheel correctly. CONSTITUTION:The rotary polishing member is formed with three grindstone wheels having different polishing characteristic or the rough grindstone wheel G1 and the finish grindstone wheels G2, G3. The grindstone wheels G1, G2, G3 are advanced independently toward the cutters 10a, 10b fixed to the cutter table 7 through the motor driving, while the moving base 13 is slidable laterally by means of a feed motor M8 through a feed screw. The detection switch is positioned at the center P of the horizontal rail 4 and fixed to the back face of the cutters 10a, 10b below the cutter table 7. As the going of the cutter table 7 the switch will detect the starting end of going of the cutter 10b, while when the end of going of the cutter 10a will pass the rough grindstone wheel G1 the motor M will rotate reversely through the switch and driven to the returning direction.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify structure and improve durability of a reciprocating movement device by providing a main body, with a set-in object for abrasion, with a block as well as a pressing board and holding up after abrasion an abrasive roller from an object for abrasion so that a special power plant to hold up said roller is not required. CONSTITUTION:After moving a main body 1 with a set-in liquid crystal glass 19, an object for abrasion, by means of drive of a motor 2, the surface of said glass 19 is abraded with an abrasive roller 4. Upon completion of abrasion, a bearing 6 fitted to a roller 4 is moved upward along a slant of a block 7 provided at the rear end of the main body 1 and holds up the roller 4 from the surface of the liquid crystal glass 19. At this time, a pressing board 8 provided on the main body 1 puts a bearing 10 fitted to a rotary arm 9 in operation and the bearing 10 comes in contact with a bearing 11 of the roller 4, which is maintained in a condition of being held up by the rotary arm 9. When the main body 1 moves under this condition, the motor 2 is reversed and the main body 1 is moved in a contrary direction.
