In the pressure roller A according such a constitution, the frictional resistance of the pressure roller A surface is increased because the surface of the fluorine resin layer 3 covering the surface of the elastic body layer 2 applied to the outer circumference of the metal core metal 1 is subjected to corona discharge treatment, the paper slippage resulted from moisture evaporation in the fixing of a recording paper is difficult to cause, and the wrinkling of the paper can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To concurrently perform chemical polishing and polishing with abrasive grains by providing many holes on a stainless pipe as passing holes of an electrolyte, and winding a nonwoven fabric stuck with abrasive grains around it. CONSTITUTION:An insulating tape 2 is wound around a stainless steel bar 1, a stainless pipe 3 having a diameter larger than that of the steel bar 1 and bored with many holes 4 on the whole periphery of its side face is fitted at one end of the steel bar 1, a synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric 5 stuck with abrasive grains is wound on the side face of the pipe 3, an adhesive is coated on its surface, and a stiff thread 6 such as a silk gut thread is wound on it and fixed. An electrode jig is rotated as shown by an arrow B, an electrolyte A is fed into the pipe 3 as shown by arrows and discharged to the outside through many holes 4, and a machining surface is polished via the nonwoven fabric 5. Since abrasive grains are stuck on the nonwoven fabric 5, the polishing function by abrasive grains is provided in addition to the polishing function by the electrolyte A, the work efficiency is improved, and the machining surface can be finished into a mirror-shaped smooth surface.

    • PURPOSE:To perform electric discharge machining of entire periphery of a workpiece of a rolled shaped continuously with a high accuracy by making the peripheral speed of the roll-shaped workpiece synchronize with the peripheral speed of a roll-type machining electrode by means of a speed sensor and stopping the electric discharge machining when the difference between both of the peripheral speeds is a specified value or greater. CONSTITUTION:A roll-shaped workpiece 1 and a roll-type electrode for machining are rotated at a same speed in directions opposite to each other respectively by means of motors 2 and 4. Here, the peripheral speeds of the workpiece 1 and the electrode 3 are made to synchronize with each other by means of a microcomputer 15 and a rotary speed sensor 14. When the difference in the peripheral speeds between the workpiece 1 and the electrode 3 becomes greater or smaller than a set value stored in the computer 15, the electric discharge machining is discontinued or resumed by means of a discontinuation means 16. With the above arrangement, machining efficiency can be greatly enhanced and at the same time the accuracy of engraving pattern can be kept vary high over the entire periphery of the workpiece 1.
