    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a plasma display panel capable of raising rendering capability when displaying a dark image. SOLUTION: In a head sub-field SF1, a voltage LP using row electrodes Y1-Yn as an anode side and using column electrodes D as a cathode side is applied across both side electrodes immediately after an addressing process, and thereby a micro light-emitting process LL which makes micro light-emitting discharge occur between the row electrodes Y1-Yn and column electrodes D in a display cell in the lighting mode is performed.
