摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffuser sheet capable of improving diffusion function of light while suppressing the deterioration of brightness in the front direction, to provide a backlight and a liquid crystal display device provided with the diffuser sheet, and to provide a method of manufacturing the diffuser sheet.SOLUTION: The diffuser sheet 1 has a plurality of protrusion structures 12 and flat parts 13 on the main plane 11a of a substrate 11. Each of the structure 12 has the dispersion function and the condensing function of light which transmits the substrate 11. The structures 12 are formed at random on the main plane 11a, thereby preventing the occurrence of moire. Further, the flat parts 13 have a surface roughness (Ra) of ≤0.6 μm and has the diffusion function of light. Consequently, according to the diffusion sheet 1, the diffusion function of light can be improved while suppressing the deterioration of brightness in the front direction.

In this film, the anti-Newton ring layer has a surface pattern of protrusions and recesses and isotropically transmits and scatters incident light, a scattering angle showing the maximum scattering light intensity ranges from 0.1 to 10°, and the total light transmittance ranges from 70 to 100%.
