    • PURPOSE:To permit the correct fuel correction by calculating the initial value of the engine temperature on the basis of the intake-air temperature on engine start by a temperature calculating means and varying the degree of rise of the engine temperature according to the initial value, when the trouble of an engine-temperature detecting means is detected. CONSTITUTION:Fuel injection pulses at least for a fuel injection nozzle 6 are properly controlled by an operation-state control means 5 according to the output of an engine-temperature detecting means 2, and a trouble detecting means 8 for detecting the trouble of the temperature detecting means 2 is installed. When the trouble detecting means 8 detects a trouble, an engine-temperature calculating means 9 calculates the initial value of the engine temperature on the basis of the intake temperature on engine start which is detected by ansintake- temperature detecting means 4 in the engine-temperature calculating means 9, and the degree of rise of the calculated engine temperature is varied according to the initial value. Therefore, the correction control of the fuel injection pulse is carried-out similarly by the operation-state control means 5 according to the calculated engine temperature.

    • PURPOSE: To facilitate shunting traveling by delaying fuel-cut on restart after a revolution-angle anomaly is generated in sensor, in an apparatus which executes fuel-cut when the revolution angle sensor for detecting the revolution of an engine is put into anomaly.
      CONSTITUTION: A revolution-angle sensor anomaly detecting means detects the anomaly of a revolution-angle sensor for detecting the revolution of a Diesel engine. A state detecting means detects the state where the opening degree of an accelerator is below a prescribed value and a car speed is below a prescribed value. When the revolution angle sensor anomaly detecting means generates an output and the state detecting means generates an output, a fuel-cut delaying time setting means sets the delay time for the start of operation of a fuel-cut means. When an engine restarts after anomaly generates in the revolution-angle sensor, the delay time is elongated. Thus, shunting traveling is facilitated.
