    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head assembly which prevents information of each head module from being erased or rewritten by mistake, and to provide an image recording apparatus and a recording head adjusting method.SOLUTION: A recording head assembly includes: an IJ head (48) having a plurality of head modules (48); a data input part 94 for acquiring information for each head module; and a head module information storage part (92) for storing the information of each head module. The head module information storage part includes: an EEPROM which can be subjected to onboard write, and includes a WP terminal in order to switch a write enable state and a write inhibit state; a fuse (F) between power supply voltage and the WP terminal; a resistance between ground and the WP terminal; and a transistor (Q) switching whether fusing current is applied to the fuse. The transistor is operated to fuse the fuse in order to fix the EEPROM in the write inhibiting state after the information of the head module is stored in the EEPROM.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a high landing position accuracy by controlling variation of speed of an ejected liquid droplet by different liquid droplet amount and to achieve high-frequency ejection.SOLUTION: A basic driving waveform 30 including a plurality of jet pulses P1-P3 and a non-jet pulse PS placed in front of the final jet pulse P3 in one recording period is generated. A part of pulse is removed from the basic driving waveform 30 leaving at least the final jet pulse P3, and driving signals (32, 34, 36) which apply to an ejecting energy generating element are generated. When only the final jet pulse P3 among the plural jet pulses is used for jetting, a first driving signal (32) including the non-jet pulse PS placed in front of the final jet pulse is generated. When a combination of the final jet pulse P3 and at least another one jet pulse among the plural jet pulses is used for jetting, second driving signals (34, 36) configured by removing the non-jet pulse PS are generated.
