    • PURPOSE: To separate efficiently each component in concentrated states from a mixture of different particles, by applying a centrifugal force and a force caused by the electric field in the direction opposite thereto to the sample.
      CONSTITUTION: A cathode call 40, a storage cell 41 for electrolyte, an electrophoretic cell 42, and an anode cell 43 are formed within the case of centrifugal and electrophoretic tube 12 which rotates while hanging by a rotor rotated by a motor. The cathode cell 40 is partitioned by a piece 50 and a cation exchange membrane 44. The storage cell 41 is partitioned by cation exhcange membranes 44 and 45, and a piece 46; the electrophoretic cell 42 by the cation exchange membrane 45, a piece 47, and a cation exchange membrane 48; and the anode cell 43 by the cation exchange membrane 48, and a piece 49, respectively. Different solutions, such as 10mM sodium acetate solution and 15% sucrose solution, are placed in the electrophoretic cell 42, and, when voltage of 50V is applied between the lead wire 18 of the negative electrode side, and the lead wire 19 of the positive electrode side, a potential gradient is formed, and each component is efficiently separated.
