    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool by which a bone can be bored within a short period of time without giving excess pressure to the bone.
      SOLUTION: The boring tool for the bone cavity or a hollow bone includes: an elongated hollow shaft bar 10; a first end part which can be matched so as to be attached to a rotation drive part in a manner to be stabilized at an angle, one mandrel rotatably supported in the shaft bar and extended with the first end part to an attaching end part of the shaft bar when the first end part of the mandrel 14 is aligned to a drive mandrel of the rotation drive means and simultaneously extended with the second end part over the other end of the shaft bar; one flexible member connectable in the transverse direction at the first end part together with the second end part of the mandrel; and an outer form member 22 comprising a hard material on the other end of the flexible member 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reamer for milling bone capable of receiving input rotary power from various angle directions and capable of arranging the reamer for milling bone in various angle directions with respect to input rotary power.
      SOLUTION: A medical instrument and procedure are adapted to mill bone along a curve and with respect to at least two angles of orientation with respect to an input source of rotary motion. Particularly, the medical instrument is a bone milling apparatus that is configured to mill bone along a predetermined curved path or curve. The bone milling apparatus 10 includes a reamer 50 that is rotatable about a curved shaft which is retained by a frame 12. The shaft has a predetermined curve that corresponds to a desired milling curve. The reamer 50 is composed of a plurality of interconnected segments, with each segment having cutting surfaces such that each segment is a cutter. The reamer 50 is thus flexible with respect to the interconnection between the individual segments.
