    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a piping work in a restricted area easily by locking a sharp edge part located at the rear end of the base part of a socket member crimpingly into a stepped part which is provided in a large diameter chamber on the connector main body side. SOLUTION: A resin connector main body 1 is provided with a connecting cylinder wall 2 connected to a rubber hose at its top end side, a stepped small diameter chamber 3' and a stepped large diameter chamber 3 are interconnected in order to its circulating hole 4, and a stepped part is provided at the rear of the internal surfaces which form the large diameter chamber 3. Also an elastic seal ring member 6 is fitted closely to the small diameter chamber 3, and an annular bush member 7 for positioning is installed internally at the rear side of it. Then a socket member 5 comprising a thin wall metal elastic material is locked crimpingly on a stepped part in which a sharp edge part 5"' of which base part 5" is formed roughly in annual shape and of which inner side of its rear end is formed in a tapered surface expanding toward the rear is provided in a large diameter chamber 3. When a pipe P is connected, a claw wall 5' at the top end of it is locked to the annular dwelling wall P' of the pipe P for the connection of it.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and structure for reinforcing a connecting end of a thin small diameter metal pipe, in which the press fitting margin of a press fitting wall portion constituted by a reinforcing pipe is easily machined, the reinforcing pipe is securely fixed to facilitate press-fitting work and positioning of the reinforcing pipe to the connecting end of the metal pipe to be at a fixed position. SOLUTION: In the method for reinforcing the connecting end of the thin small diameter metal pipe, one end of the short reinforcing pipe is slightly enlarged in diameter and/or deformed to form the press fitting wall portion. The other end of the reinforcing pipe is inserted into the metal pipe, and the press fitting wall portion is press-fitted on the inner peripheral face of the metal pipe to fix the reinforcing pipe, so that a connecting portion is formed to be a desired shape near the connecting end of the metal pipe. In a structure for reinforcing the connecting end of the thin small diameter metal pipe, the connecting end structure has a double wall in which the connecting portion of the desired-shape is formed near the connecting end of the metal pipe. One end of press-in portions of the short reinforcing pipe is slightly enlarged in diameter and/or deformed to form the press fitting wall portion. In a portion near the connecting end of the metal pipe, the press fitting wall portion is press- fitted on the inner peripheral face of the metal pipe to fix the short reinforcing pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and provide a large pulling proof stress by mounting the cylinder part of a connector body on a passing hole, closely fitting a seal ring to the inside surface of the passing hole, and engaging and connecting the locking claw of a retainer to the cutout window part of a counter member. SOLUTION: In connection of thin piping, the cylinder part 1A-1 of a connector body 1A is inserted to a passing hole 4 on an oil tank 6 side, and a seal ring 5 is closely fitted to the inside surface of the passing hole 4. The claw piece 2c of a retainer 2 fitted and fixed between the spools 1A-3 of the connector body 1A is engagingly connected to the cutout window part 3-1 of a counter member. To release the connection, the elastic wall of the retainer 2 exposed to the part of the cutout window part 3-1 provided on a cylindrical wall 3 is pressed inward to push the clocking claw 2c into the cylindrical wall 3. According to this, the assembling can be easily and quickly performed, a large pulling proof stress can be provided, and the separation accident of the piping can be eliminated.
