    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical loading testing method of the directly under ground confirming availability of the directly under ground of a structure without pulling down a foundation of the existing structure.
      SOLUTION: A part of a foundation slab coming into contact with the ground surface of the existing structure is separated from the peripheral part in a predetermined size and shape to form a loading slab. A loading testing jack together with a load meter and a displacement meter are installed on the loading slab in an approximately vertical posture to have such a constitution that loading test reaction force is taken in a beam of the existing structure or a slab, and the jack is driven to perform a loading test. After the completion of the loading test, the loading slab is removed to restore the foundation slab, alternatively the loading slab is again combined with the foundation slab to restore the foundation slab.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the soundness of a pile, the existence of slime in the forward end of the pile and the length of the pile and so on by reading an impulse wave transmitted from an impulse wave sending device buried in the pile through the pile by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:A pile hole 10 is formed in a designated position of a ground 13 to be used as a foundation of a building by digging, and a reinforcement cage A is inserted in the pile hole 10. Before the reinforcement cage A is inserted in the pile hole 10, an ultrasonic wave transmitter 15 is fixed at an intersecting portion of supporting rods A1 disposed like a cross, and the respective end portions of the supporting rods A1 are fixed to reinforcements A2 forming the reinforcement cage A in such a manner that the ultrasonic wave transmitter 15 is positioned on the central axis in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement cage A or in its vicinity. The ultrasonic wave transmitter 15 and a power supply B on the ground are connected by a cable C. After the reinforcement cage A is inserted in the pile hole 10, ready-mixed concrete is placed, and a sensor 17 is disposed in contact with the surface 11a of the pile head and connected to a monitor 18.
