    • PURPOSE:To avoid inoperative condition due to exhaustion of a battery by using a repeatedly chargeable battery as a power source of a radio transmitter for electric shutter of a building. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 5 connected to a control part 4 to output an open/ close control command to a switch 2 receives a control signal from a transmitter 6. The transmitter 6 uses a repeatedly chargeable battery as a power source to transmit control signals such as radio waves, light waves, acoustic waves, etc. Also a receptacle for charging 6a is provided in the transmitter 6 so that charging to the battery can be made from a household power supply or battery power source of vehicle through a charger 8. By this, the battery can be charged as required and, if the battery is exhausted, a specified open/close command signal can be output by charging the battery without replacing it. In this case, if a solar battery is installed in the transmitter 6 as a chargeable means, the exhaustion of battery due to failure of charging can be avoided.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce cost for the execution of works and running cost as well by providing the motor driver shutter with a battery feeding drive current to an electric motor, and with a solar cell for charging the battery. CONSTITUTION:The shutter curtain 1 of the motor-driven shutter is firmly installed on the window of a dwelling house, as an electric motor is driven normally and/or reversely, the window is opened in an open posture where the shutter is taken up so as to be housed in a shutter case 3, and is closed in a close posture where the shutter hangs down along paired right and left guide rails 4. Next, a solar cell 6 is installed on the upper surface section of a case 3 projected in a hood shape out of a window upper section, and a battery 5 is internally packaged in the intermediate section of the guide rail 4, so that an electric motor 2 is driven by current fed from the battery having been charged by the cell 6. By this consitution, the formation of a shutter unit independent from the view point of a power supply with no AC power supply pulled out of the building side permits both cost for the execution of works and running cost to be ruduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shutter capable of preventing a shutter curtain from being opened simply even if a switch box is forcedly opened and an operation switch is depressed. SOLUTION: A controller for the electric shutter is provided with an opening and closing machine 3 for opening and closing the shutter curtain 1, an operation means 7 for outputting an operation signal for driving the opening and closing machine 3, a control means 8 for receiving the operation signal from the operation means and outputting a drive signal for the opening and closing machine 3, an electronic key 9 for transmitting a release signal, and a release signal receiving part 10 for receiving the release signal from the electronic key 9. When the release signal receiving part 10 receives the release signal outputted from the electronic key 9, the shutter curtain 1 is opened and closed based on the operation signal from the operation means 7.

    • PURPOSE: To secure safety when sensors fail by providing manual operation switches and an auxiliary switch on a shutter automatically operated by the signals from the sensors, and ignoring the detection signals when both switches are concurrently operated. CONSTITUTION: Manual action switches PBU, PBD, PBS and an automatic return type auxiliary switch 10 are provided on an opening/closing controller 2 provided with a passing object detecting sensor detecting the approach of a person and opening a shutter and an obstacle detecting sensor detecting an obstacle during an operation and stopping the operation. If both action signals from the manual action opening/closing switches PBU, PBD, PBS and the auxiliary switch 10 are inputted while the detection signals from the passing object detecting sensor and obstacle detecting sensor are inputted, the detection signals from the sensors are ignored to allow a manual action. The auxiliary switch 10 is of an automatic return type, and a manual action is disabled when a hand is released. Even when the detecting sensors fail and are kept in the detecting state, the shutter can be easily manually operated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen registration work by setting end signal for ending registration to a signal output again from a transmitter operated last for registration in registering a specific code signal in a memory. SOLUTION: In a specific code registration mode state, if a newest-input predetermined operation signal is different from those tentatively registered previously, the tentative registration of specific code signal is repeated; and if it is the same, then the tentative registration work of the specific code signal is ended and each specific code signal tentatively registered up to this time is formally registered in the memory of a receiving section 5. When a new transmitter 7 is required to be registered in performing opening and closing control of a shutter curtain 1, predetermined operation signals are output in a specific mode registration state starting sequentially from the first transmitter 7a to transmitter 7n required to be registered. Lastly the operation signal is output from the transmitter 7n for formal registration. In this way, registration work can be smoothly performed by avoiding troubles such as a transmitter outputting registration end signal being unknown, or a specific code signal being registered again nevertheless the registration work has been ended.
