    • PURPOSE:To improve the operability of an optical disk memory device by providing a spindle motor which revolves an optical disk, a clamp means, a movable matter containing an objective lens and a coil means, and a magnetic circuit means. CONSTITUTION:A clamp mechanism 37a which fixes an extractable optical disk 22a at both sides of the rotary shaft of a spindle motor 38 is provided together with a movable matter containing objective lenses 50a and 50b and coil means 48 and 49, and an optical head part which is driven by the common magnetic circuit means 42a and 42b and performs the control of focusing, tracking, access, etc. The movable matter coats with the coil means and is driven by the magnetic circuit means to perform the control of focus, tracking, access, etc. The disk 22a is revolved by the motor 38 and focuses the laser light to the surface of the disk 22a with a selected optical disk only to read or write the signals via the minute spots. In such a way, the operability is improved with an optical disk memory device.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an optical read part, to clearly distinguish the image of the surface pattern of a coin and a background image part and to simplify a processing in a recognition processing part after read. SOLUTION: The coins carried separately one by one are carried on a guide plate 2 by a carrying belt 9, the coin is pressed to the side of the guide plate 2 through the carrying belt 9 by pressing rollers 14 and 15, light is emitted through a through-hole 3 by the light source 5 of the optical read part, the reflected light is received through a lens 6 by a light receiving part 7 and thus, the surface pattern of the coin is read. Also, an initial clearance (g) and the length (w) of the through-hole are set so as not to overlap an irradiation range on the carrying belt 9 irradiated by the light source 5 at the time of the initial clearance (g) and a range on the carrying belt 9 for receiving the light by the light receiving part 7 and the reflected light from the carrying belt 9 is prevented from being mixed into the read image of the surface pattern of the coin.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the genuineness decision precision and processing speed of a coin. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic sensor 10 which varies in output with at least the material of a coin and an optical sensor 20 which reads out the unevenness pattern of the coin surface are arranged along a coin conveying means which conveys the coin at a constant speed, and this device is equipped with a money kind decision part 40 which detects features of the whole coin consisting of at least a feature regarding the presence/absence state of the hole of the coin, a feature regarding the material of the coin, and features regarding the external diameter of the coin and determines the money kind of the coin according to a combination of feature values, a reference image storage part 50 which stores registered images of various money kinds to be discriminated, and a genuineness decision part 80 which decides the genuineness of the coin by collating the read image of the coin surface read by the optical sensor 20 with the registered image of the denomination determined by the denomination decision part 40.

    • PURPOSE:To electrify an image carrier while passing residual toner through, to facilitate the maintenance of the residual toner, and to reduce the running cost. CONSTITUTION:An electrifier 102 generates an electric field to the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 to electrify the carrier 101 while allowing the residual toner 106 on the carrier 101 to pass. Then, a development device 104 forms on the surface of the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 a toner image corresponding to an electrostatic latent image on the carrier 101. At the same time, the development device 104 receivers the toner 106 remained on the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 and passed the electrified 102. Subsequently a transfer device 111 transfers the toner image formed on the surface of the carrier 101 to the final recording medium, and a fixing device 114 fixes the toner image transferred to the final recording medium. The electrifier 102 generates the electric field to the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 at the time of recording, but at the time of non-recording it generates an inversed electric field.

    • PURPOSE:To always obtain a stable and good transferring characteristic regardless of variation in resistance value of a transfer member due to a change in environmental condition or the size of a transfer medium. CONSTITUTION:A transfer roll 2 consists of a conductive metal shaft 2a and a semiconductive rubber-like elastic body 2b and a transfer part is formed by having it pressurized to a photosensitive body 1 where a toner image is formed. When the transfer medium 3 is passed through this transfer part, the toner image on the photosensitive body 1 is transferred by having the transfer roll 2 connected to a power source 4 of reverse polarity as the electrifying polarity of the toner through a resistor 5. At this time, the transfer current fed from the power source 4 is almost determined by the resistance value of the resistor 5 by utilizing the resistor 5 with a greater resistance value than the resistance value of the transfer member and the always stable feeding of transfer current can be carried out regardless of the variation in the environmental condition or the size of the transfer medium 3.

    • PURPOSE:To make a printing plate having printing durability by a simple method by laminating a thermoplastic film shrunk and melted by heating and a silicone layer having ink repellency to porous tissue paper. CONSTITUTION:A master for a waterless planographic plate is formed by succes sively laminating porous tissue paper composed of a natural fiber, a synthetic fiber or a blend thereof, a thin thermoplastic film 3 such as a polyester film, a polypropylene film or a polyvinylidene chloride film and a silicone layer 4 having ink repellency obtained by applying and drying silicone for a release agent or silicone for release paper. When this master is heated by the heating element 6a of a thermal head 6, the thermoplastic film 3 is thermally shrunk and melted to be adsorbed by the thin porous tissue paper 4 but, at this time, the heated region of the silicone layer 4 is also locally destructed to form a recessed part and ink is accumulated in this part at the time of printing. By this method, a waterless planographic printing plate can be easily formed by a simple input means such as a thermal head.
