    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately restructure an X-ray image in an X-ray CT apparatus using a rotary arm rotated around a non-vertical rotation axis.
      SOLUTION: In this X-ray CT apparatus equipped with a rotary arm to which an X-ray generator to generate a cone beam X-ray and a two-dimensional X-ray detector are attached opposite to each other and a scanning mechanism which supports the rotary arm and rotates it around the non-vertical rotation axis of the rotary arm, an X-ray absorptive substance is set almost on the rotary axis, the rotary arm is rotated to generate a cone beam X-ray, and two-dimensional images of the X-ray absorptive substance in the rotation axis direction and the direction vertical thereto are collected. The locus of the center of the X-ray absorptive substance is obtained from the two-dimensional images, and blurring width in the direction vertical to the rotation axis of the locus, an average value of blurring in the rotation axis direction, and the rotation angle of the rotary arm are obtained. A position of an ideal locus of the X-ray absorptive substance in the rotation axis direction is calculated to obtain the difference between the calculation value of the ideal locus of the X-ray absorptive substance in the rotation axis direction and the measured value of the position in the rotation axis. The difference is used as a correction amount of deviation in a position in the rotation axis direction.

    • PURPOSE: To take an accurate and speedy diagnosis by converting the depth of a cecum into a signal output through a linear sliding type vaviable resistor.
      CONSTITUTION: A probe 1 incorporates the linear sliding type variable resistor 11 applied with a constant voltage E and a voltage V having linear relation to the measured depth of the cecum is led out as the signal output. An arithmetic part 3 converts a digital signal from an A/D converter 2 into data for display, which is stored or outputted on a display part 6 by the operation of a foot switch 4 together with a tooth number. An output part 6 prints out the measurement result on a printer 7 or display it on a CRT display device 8. For this purpose, the tip of the probe 13 of a probe body 1 is inserted into the cecum until it abuts to the bottom part and a slider 15 is operated to bring the tip part of the probe 13 into contact with the edge of the gum. Thus, the resistance value corresponding to the length of the tip part of the probe 13 into the cecum, i.e. the depth of the cecum is obtained and lead out through a lead wire 19 as the signal output.
