摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain floating oil fence provided with multiple functions of preventing oil diffusion, intercepting surging ice floe and breaking ice when oil fence is ice- coated. CONSTITUTION:Oil fence 1 is constructed by connecting a plurality of small blocks 6, having vertical concaved surfaces 17 and proveded with ice-breaking edges 13 at around water line 7, using coupling pins 6. Oil fence 1 is fast moored by anchors, etc., installed at the sea bottom 8 thru steel wires 3. Clearance between the adjacent small blocks 9 is filled with conventional type oil fence 5. Inside of the small block 9, bulkhead 10 is provided at an appropriate depth, with ballast tank 11 established at the bottom thereof. At the bottom 18 of the small block 9, inlet and exhaust port 12 is provided for ballast water, and intake and discharge of water is actuated by the motor 14. At the ocean side of the surface 17, edges 13 are provided for checking ice board. By the above constitution, functions not only preventing oil diffusions and intercepting surging ice floe, ice breaking capability by sinking or floating up the small blocks 9 is available.

摘要： PURPOSE:To optimize control force while restraining Lorentz force without causing the lowering of the film thickness control force. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet 7 is inserted and pulled up in/from the gap of electro-magnets arranged so that the electro-magnets consisting of iron cores 1 and exciting coils 2 are oppossed with each other, and arranged in a container 5 incorporating molten metal 4 in the condition of separating from the surroundings with a casing 3. Then, by supplying current to the exciting coils 2 from an AC current source 8, the Lorentz force acts downward. By this force, the coating amount of the molten metal on the steel sheet is controlled. Then, the molten metal surface is varied by the Lorentz force and this variation is detected with a displacing measuring instrument 14 fitted above the molten metal surface. In order to compensate this variation, the detected signal is transmitted to a solenoid valve or a sucking-up pump 18 through a controller 15 and the molten metal is supplied or discharged between the molten metal storing vessel 17 and the container 5 to control the molten metal surface position. As a result, the film thickness control force can be optimized without causing the lowering of the Lorentz force.
