    • PURPOSE:To offer an automatic document feeding device where antistatic processing is executed without damaging a feeding characteristic by making the back surface of the feeding surface of an endless elastic belt and the outside circumferential surface of a pinch roller electrically conductive. CONSTITUTION:The endless elastic belt 6 is provided with an oridinary belt part 20 and a thin electrical conductive film 21 formed on the back surface (surface on an opposite side to the feeding surface A) thereof, for example. Then, the back surface side of the feeding surface A of the belt 6 and the outside circumferential surface of the pinch roller 8 are made electrically conductive. Besides, the whole shape thereof is annular and endless similarly to the conventional endless belt 6. The ordinary belt part 20 is also formed of a rubber material which is generally used for the endless elastic belt or urethane resin containing a sail cloth. That means, the film 21 has electrical conductivity and it is formed by using an electrical conductive material where electric charge is easily transmitted. Besides, cation surface active agent, nonionic surface active agent, anionic surface active agent or the like can be mentioned as the electrical conductive material and the cation surface active agent is the best among them.

      SOLUTION: This brace damper A comprises: a damper body portion 1 in which an odd number of steel plates 6, 7 and 8 are stacked at spacings in parallel, in which a pair of stiffening members 10 and 11 for preventing the buckling of the steel plates 6, 7 and 8 are stacked at a spacing outside the pair of outermost steel plates 6 and 8, respectively, and in which a viscoelastic body 9 is interposed between the adjacent steel plates 6, 7 and 8 and between the outermost steel plates 6 and 8 and the stiffening members 10 and 11; and a pair of joints 2 and 3 which are provided on both the sides of the axis-line O1 direction ends of the brace damper A, so as to join the brace damper A to a building frame, respectively. The pair of joints 2 and 3 is formed of H-shaped steel or I-shaped steel.

The peripheral edge of the viscoelastic body 16 is extended outward respectively along the upper and lower rigid-sheets 11, 14 on the bordering side coming in contact with the upper and lower rigid-sheets 11, 14, and at the same time the peripheral edge of the viscoelastic body 16 has slant parts 17 in arcuate recesses in the cross-section. The distance d between the peripheral edge of the slant part 17 and the peripheral edges of the upper and lower rigid-sheets 11, 14 which are placed oppositely in close proximity to the slant part 17 is set to a specified value of at least three times the thickness t of the viscoelastic body 16. SOLUTION: In the vibration control structure for the building, a brace 4 of a framework 1 has a viscoelastic damper 9 and a frication damper 10 serially arranged thereon. A fixed plate 6 of the viscoelastic damper 9 has a stopper pin 12 arranged thereon, and a movable plate 8 has a slot 13 formed therein, in which the stopper pin 12 is loosely inserted. When vibration occurs, shear deformation of a viscoelastic body 11 of the viscoelastic damper 9 generates a damping action, while at the time of application of excessive load, a fixed plate 7 and the movable plate 8 are relatively moved in a longitudinal direction in the friction damper 10 to generate a friction damping action. On the other hand, with respect to static load such as wind, by virtue of the shear deformation of the viscoelastic body 11, the stopper pin 12 abuts on the slot 13, which brings generation of strength.
