SOLUTION: A probe 2, for detecting a partial discharge current from a coil to be diagnosed, is connected every coil of a dynamoelectric machine or every block comprising two or more coils, and the partial discharge current detected by the probe 2 is read via an interface device 540. The polarity of the read partial discharge current is determined by a computer 510, to discriminate whether the partial discharge current concerned is generated by partial discharge by interlayer insulation or by partial discharge by ground insulation, it is determined whether or not an abnormality exists in the interlayer insulation by comparing with a preliminarily stored reference value, and the result is outputted.

Thus, the deseired stereoscopic film is recognized and generated.
