    • PURPOSE:To enable an issuer of a write instruction to protect the stored information by each of stored units selectively, by writing the information of plural bits for deciding whether writing in the storage units can be made or not in part of the ID parts of the respective storage units. CONSTITUTION:A storage unit having a specified length is constituted of a gap part, an ID part and a data part. Part of the address information of sectors, the information indicating the state of tracks, and the information for checking the effectiveness of write information are included in the ID part. The series signal read out from a magnetic face is paralleled with a series/parallel converting element 28, and the parallel signals are stored in an RAM20 and are inputted to one input terminal of a comparator 8. On the other hand, the control signal which had been received from a processing unit before the starting of the reading out in the ID part and has been latched in a latching circuit 16 is applied to the other input terminal of the comparator 8. The control signals from the ID part which has read the information therein and from the processing unit are compared over the entire bit.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent writing to a wrong sector and destructs an old data, by discriminating whether a sector to be written is a sector at a rationally correct position before writing operation. CONSTITUTION:For writing operation, a control circuit 26 sets a track and a sector address in registers 17 and 18 respectively. The output 11 of the register 17 is used as a track address signal to select a track of a disk drive 3. The output of the sector address register 18 is supplied to two address converters 21 and 22. The address converter 21 outputs the value of a sector address N-2 which is two addresses before an address N on the track, and the address converter 22 outputs a sector address N-1 which is one address before. Prior to the writing, reading operation is performed firstly and sector addresses are collated according to a prescribed flow. Namely, the address of two succeeding sectors are confirmed to start the writing operation.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to simplify operations and provide many functions, by giving a constitution where many kinds of switch group are handled unificatively and by making it possible that the switch state can be taken in and subjected to the decision processing. CONSTITUTION:When any switch of switches 15 is depressed, coded switch data is set to data register 18. The micro instruction takes its contents into operation register 29, and zero of the operation result in register 29 is detected by zero detector 44. Next, if the output of detector 29 is 1, FF33 is set; and if the output above is O, FF33 is reset. Thus, the type of the switch is decided. After decision of the type of the switch, the corresponding processing is executed with micro instructions. For example, in case that the address switch is depressed, 1 is written into work register 47, and contents of addres register 45 are trausferred to display register 17 after read to operation register 28. If the data switch is depressed, the same operations are executed except write of 2 of the index.
