摘要： PURPOSE:To use in common a few test equipments to subscribers accommodated in plural exchanges decentralized in a wide area by installing the test equipments decentralizingly near an exchange and a test toll center and using the test equipments in the test toll center by lots of subscribers in common. CONSTITUTION:When a test item is conducted by a test equipment 82 of the 2nd test device 80, a control section 83 uses a switch 81 to select and set a connection path between the test equipment 82 and a test line 51. A control section 43 of the 1st test device 40 requests the path setting to a central control section 32 of an exchange 30 with a switch circuit 40 to connect the exchange 30 and the test line 51. Thus, the route of exchange 30 - test switch circuit 41 of 1st test equipment 40 - test line 51 - switch circuit 81 of 2nd test device 80 - test equipment 82 is completed and the test equipment 82 conducts the test. The result of test is returend to a test board 70 via the control section 83 and a control section 61 of a test controller 60.

摘要： PURPOSE:To relaize an on-line replacement of units without giving any effect to other normal circuits within a unit in case a falut is caused to a circuit within the unit, by using a connector with cable which is capable of a multiple connection. CONSTITUTION:In case a fault arises at a subscriber circuit 6 which is stored in a unit 5, a maintainer connects the unit 5 to a spare unit 15 by means of a cable 8 with connector attached with male and female connectors 11a and 11b. Then the faulty circuit 6 and an idle subscriber cicuit are closed and releases the closure of the subscriber circuit of the unit 15 to secure a call monitoring state. For a subscriber circuit under a busy mode, the same state as that of the unit 5 is given to the subscriber circuit. Then the subscriber circuit of the unit 5 is closed. After this, the male/female connector 11 is pulled out of the connector 1 of the unit 5 to replace the unit 5.
