摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability at the time of fitting a protective cover for the rotator of a vehicle AC generator, by forming a hole at the protective cover of a non-magnetic body so that protective cover may not fit a claw-shaped pole surface, and fitting the protective cover into a stepwise structure formed at the outer periphery of the claw-shaped pole. SOLUTION: Protective covers 19A, 19B which prevent scattering of a permanent magnet 18 are formed out of non-magnetic bodies, and are formed into such a shape as parts meeting the claw parts of cylindrical and claw-shaped plies 12X, 12Y are punched. Stepwise structure 12X1-P, 12X2-P, 12Y2-P which involve almost the same depth as the thickness of the protective covers 19A, 19B are formed at the end parts on the outer periphery of the claw-shaped poles 12X, 12Y. The protective cover 19A is stored in the stepwise structure 12X2-P. As a result, the surface of the stainless protective covers 19A, 19B have almost the same height as the surface of the claw-shaped poles 12, thus enabling to improve output without increasing the size of a magnetic gap.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling of a constituent component inside by optimizing the ratio of the outside diameter of the ventilation passage of a fan guide to the inside diameter of a cooling fan. CONSTITUTION:A rear cooling fan 9 is fixed to the edge of a field pole 7, and a fan guide 10 is arranged in a position facing it. When the ratio phiD1/phiD2 of the outside diameter phiD1 of the ventilation passage of the fan guide to the inside diameter phiD2 of the cooling fan is made proper, the cooling of a constituent component inside is enhanced. Thereby, when the ratio phiD1/phiD2 of the outside diameter phiD1 of the ventilation passage of the fan guide to the inside diameter phiD2 of the cooling fan is set within a range of 1.2 to 1.45, the temperature of a (+)-side diode, a (-)-side diode, a stator and the like can be reduced by 2 to 5 deg.C, and their life can be elongated.
