    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the maximum magnetic density of the iron core part of a stator even after setup or according to the design specification or machine kind, by equipping a rotating-electric machine with a casing which possesses a bearing for housing a stator and a rotor counterposed through a gap on its periphery side and supporting the rotor. SOLUTION: A stator 1 is equipped with an iron core 2 which has iron core teeth 7 among plural slots 3 to accommodate windings 4. The teeth of an iron core lying among the slots 3 equal in phase of the current applied to each of the windings 4 within adjacent slots 3 are made 7a, and the teeth lying among the slots different in phase of the current are made 7b, and magnetic material 8 is installed at the tooth 7b, consequently the sectional area of the tooth 7b increases, and the maximum magnetic flux density drops, and the maximum magnetic flux density in the peripheral direction of the iron core tooth 7 is made roughly equal. The distribution of the iron loss of the tooth 7b is made roughly equal in the circumferential direction of the iron core tooth 7, whereby the cooling effect by ventilation is improved and the partial temperature rise within the machine can be suppressed, and the downsizing of the machine size, the improvement of the motor property, and the reduction of vibration and noise can be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To get a magnetic bearing which is casy to assemble and large in radial spring constant, by configuring a series of magnets, n in number, opposed through a gap to another series of magnets, n+1 in number, which are being set in the radial direction, different in diameter and magnetized in the axial or radial direction on the contrary. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic bearing is equipped with a supporting plate 2 with which a rotational unit is connected, magnet 3 on the rotary side, guard ring 4, magnet 5a on the rotational side, fitting plate 6b, etc. A magnet 5c, which is polarized in the same axial direction as the magnet 5a and different in diameter from the magnets 5a, 3, is set inside in the radial direction on the same plane with the magnet 5a. The magnetic bearing of this configuration is suitable for high revolution, easy to assemble and improved in anti-vibration performance with an increased radial spring constant.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a hysteresis motor wherein abnormal operation can be readily sensed from the variation in an input current by providing a ferrite core, whose magnetic-flux density decreases due to temperature rise, on the surface of a stator core opposing a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 2 is arranged so as to oppose a rotor 4 comprising a semi-rigid magnetic material, and, for example, ferrite cores 9 are provided on teeth 8 forming winding grooves 7 so as to oppose the rotor 4. The magnetic flux density of the ferrite core decreases with the rise of the temperature. In this constitution, since the temperature of the ferrite core 9 increases due to the high-frequency heating phenomenon of the rotor 4 at the time of detuned operation of the motor, the magnetism of the ferrite core 9 decreases, and the gap distance is equivalently increased. And, since the excitation reactance of the motor is decreased by the increase in the gap distance, an input current to the motor increases. By sensing the variation in the input current to the motor, abnormal operation can be detected.
