    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic heater with nearly no micro crack. SOLUTION: A lamination-type ceramic heater consisting of a heater substrate where a heat generation part and a lead part are provided and a covering plate being arranged so that the heater substrate is covered by the covering plate, the generation part, and the lead part is manufactured. A ceramic green sheet 21 for the substrate is prepared, a plurality of heater patterns 20 are printed and formed on the ceramic green sheet 21, and a ceramic green sheet 22 for covering is laminated, this constituting a lamination body 23. The lamination body 23 is cut for preparing an intermediate body 24 that has one heater pattern 20 inside and an exposed part for an external input being formed on a side surface 18 of the inside. After that, the intermediate body 24 is heated and baked.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric(PE) ceramic transformer capable of effectively preventing destruction caused by piezoelectric oscillation and outputting high voltage, despite its being compact. SOLUTION: This PE ceramic transformer 1 has a drive part 11, constituted of forming input electrodes 4 having mutually different poles on both the surfaces of one side of a flat and rectangular PE ceramic body 2 in the length direction and polarizing the PE ceramic body 2 in the thickness direction and a power generation part 12 constituted of forming an output electrode 6 on the end face of the other side of the ceramic body 2 and polarizing the ceramic body 2 in the length direction. In this case, a band-like auxiliary electrode 5 is formed on the width direction surface of the ceramic body 2 at the node position of PE oscillation, where stresses due to PE oscillation become maximum in the power generation part 12, in which strength is lacking because the polarizing direction is in parallel with the stress direction and silver for accelerating sintering of the ceramic body 2 is contained in the auxiliary electrode 5 to enhance the strength of a maximum stress position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high output voltage without making a piezoelectric trans former large and easily apply to a small impedance load to it. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric ceramic transformer 1 is formed in such a structure that a power supply 5 is driven at a half wavelength mode. Input electrodes 31, 32 of the transformer 1 are formed at both ends of the transformer 1 in the longitudinal direction, and output electrode 4 is formed at the center of the transformer 1 in the longitudinal direction to interpose a generation unit 13 between drive sections 11 and 12. Therefore, the generating unit 13 is disposed at the node of the oscillation, that is, at the place where utmost distortion is observed in a piezoelectric ceramic material 2, to obtain the output voltage most efficiently. At the same time, the drive sections 11, 12 and the generating unit 13 are disposed at the region from the loop to the loop of the half wavelength in the oscillation, thereby making the positional ratio between the drive sections 11, 12 and the generating unit 13 flexibly adjustable.
