摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of making a quick start and decreasing deterioration of an electrolyte film. SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is composed of an air supply pipe 20 through which the air flows and which is connected with the oxygen electrode side gas passage 11 of the fuel cell 10, a hydrogen supply pipe 21 which is furnished with a reformer 30 to produce a fuel gas chiefly containing hydrogen from a crude gas and is connected with the hydrogen electrode side gas passage 12 of the fuel cell 10, and a mixing means 80 connected with understream of the air supply pipe 20 and hydrogen supply pipe 21 about the reformer 10, wherein the mixing means 80 mixes the air in the air supply pipe 20 with the fuel gas in the hydrogen supply pipe 21 and feeds the mixture to the fuel cell 10 in order to generate an oxidating reaction of the hydrogen in the fuel gas on an electrode catalyst at the time of starting operation.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises: an air feeding pipe (20) through which air flows, wherein the air feeding pipe (20) is equipped with an electrostatic filter (81) and a photocatalytic filter(82) to remove impurities otherwise adsorbed on an electrode catalyst and deteriorating the generating performance from the air which includes them; a hydrogen feeding pipe (21) through which a fuel gas flows, wherein the downstream ends of the air feeding pipe (20) and the hydrogen feeding pipe (21) are connected to the fuel cell (10); and a notification controller (93) which emits notifying sounds to notify it is the replacing time of both filters (81, 82) every time the cumulative generated electric amount reaches a reference value.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of a fuel cell system by carrying on an operation to eliminate electrode catalyst poisoning only when the fuel cell output decreases due to the poisoning. SOLUTION: A controller (90) of the fuel cell system has a poisoning decision section (91) and a poisoning eliminating section (92). The poisoning decision section (91) pulsatingly adds an oxidizing gas to the fuel gas, and determines, based on the output voltage changes after the addition thereof, the cause of an output voltage decrease to be or not due to CO poisoning of the electrode catalyst. When the cause of the output voltage decrease is determined to be due to the CO poisoning of the electrode catalyst, the poisoning eliminating section (92) adds the oxidizing gas to the fuel gas to eliminate the poisoning, wherein the flow amount of the oxidizing gas added to the fuel gas is decided by the poisoning decision section (91).
