摘要： PURPOSE:To clear jamming simply while preventing breakage of end part of jam preventive piece, by setting rotatably the jam preventive piece of fixing device, and protecting the end part of the preventive piece with the discharge guide plate when clearing jamming. CONSTITUTION:A toner image supporting body 3 which is heat-fixed by heat- fixing, pressure-contact rollers 1, 2 is defined in the amount of curl by a sharp end part of a jam preventive piece 5 rotatable around a shaft 6, and is discharged along a discharge guide plate 8. If the supporting body 3 entwines around the roll 1 due to jamming, by rotating the rotatable preventive piece 5, the end part of the preventive piece 5 is protected by the guide plate 8, and the supporting body 3 to be cleared of jamming does not abut against the end part of the preventive piece 5. Therefore, the jamming may be cleared easily, and the breakage of the sharp end part of the preventive piece 5 may be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:A vibration pen 3 contains a vibrator driver circuit 2, a vibrator 4 and a driving power supply B which are needed for generation of the vibrations. The distance 1 between the pen 3 and each sensor 6 is shown as 1=V1.V1=V2.t2=V2.(t1+DELTAt). Therefore t1=V2/(V1- V2).DELTAt is satisfied. Thus the distance 1 can be obtained with calculation of the time difference DELTAt. Then it is possible to obtain the coordinates of the input point of each sensor 6 from the distance 1 between each sensor 6 and the pen 5 and by means of a 3-square theorem.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cap an ink discharge part, and thereby make sure that adequate suction power is easily secured in a recovery action process and subsequently, ensure that the reliability of a recovery device is improved and manufacturing cost is slashed by providing a mechanism by which to drive a cylinder with the movement of a carriage. CONSTITUTION:If a slide lever 24 is moved to the right with a carriage 2 by the abutment of the head abutment part 24a of a recording head, the cylinder drive part 24b of the slide lever becomes engaged with the engagement part 27b of a cylinder 27 to allow the cylinder 27 to rotate to the right, centered around its rotary shaft 27a, resisting the energization force of a cylinder spring 28. Thus a cap 29 connected directly to the cylinder 27 is located in front of the recording head 1 and consequently, an ink discharge part 51 is hermetically sealed by the cap 29. The cylinder 27 is equipped with a piston which travels horizontally, and the piston moves horizontally due to a cam surface provided on a pump cam 22. In turn, ink is sucked into the cylinder 27 from the discharge orifice of the recording head 1 through the cap 29 which is now in a capping state, and then is discharged.

Subsequently, the switching lever 18 becomes rotatable and the rotary power of a feed roller is switched over to a pump gear 19 or an ASF gear 36 by controlling the rotation of a feed roller and its forward/backward rotating direction.
