    • PURPOSE:To provide a compact servo-device which can prevent breakage of an O-ring in a piston cover even though the O-ring overlaps an opening in a servo-feed oil passage when the positional relationship between a piston and the piston cover becomes longest. CONSTITUTION:When a piston cover 17 is locked to a stopper 20, a servo-feed oil passage 19 is laid between the outer cylinders 8, 15 of a piston 10 and the piston cover 17 so as to be communicated with a servo oil chamber 18. Further, a locking part 23 adapted to be locked in a shoulder part between small and large bore cylindrical parts 1, 2 in a casing 4 is formed on the cover side outer cylinder 15. Further, openings 24, 27 are formed between the case side outer cylinder 15 and the locking part 22 so that locking part 23 is locked to the shoulder part 22, irrespective of the axial position of the piston 10. Further, the length L1 between the locking part 23 and the end face of an O-ring 7 on the piston 10 is set to be larger than the length L2 between the shoulder part 22 and the sectional end part of the servo-feed oil passage 19.

    • PURPOSE:To surely prevent racing by conducting the discharge of the oil pressure of the release side hydraulic chamber of a brake hydraulic servo before the oil pressure of a clutch hydraulic servo is discharged at the time of shift down decision, properly changing the oil pressure of an engage-stopping side hydraulic chamber as well. CONSTITUTION:At the time of vehicle operation, whether or not shift down is conducted is decided at an electronic controller 200 on the basis of the outputs of an output revolution number sensor 220 and a throttle opening sensor 230, and in the case of YES, a shift valve changeover means (solenoid) SL1 is made to output a signal to change a shift valve over to a discharge side. Also, an oil pressure adjusting means (throttle pressure control valve) 5 is made to output an oil pressure change signal to adjust the oil pressure of the engage-stopping side hydraulic chamber of a brake hydraulic servo to oil pressure that is lower than brake engagement pressure. Afterwards, when it is decided from the outputs of input and output revolution number sensors 210, 220 that shift down has been completed, an oil pressure return signal to return the oil pressure of the engage-stopping side hydraulic chamber to oil pressure under which a brake is engaged completely, is made to be outputted.
