摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of antifreeze having different density, color tone and components in a treatment device composed of a filter and an ion exchange resin by providing a backwash line, enabling cleaning of a pump motor, the filter, the ion exchange resin, a piping in the treatment device. CONSTITUTION:A pump motor 1 is provided on a cleaning line for press-feeding antifreeze from a vehicle cooling system to a treatment device. On the downstream side thereof, provided are a filter 2 for removing hydroxidized heavy metal and dusts, an ion exchange resin 3 for removing ionized heavy metal and deteriorated additive, and a water quality meter 4. A valve 5 is operated for switching an antifreeze treatment line and an exclusive cleaning line. A valve 6 is operated for switching a treatment device inlet and the exclusive cleaning line. A valve 7 is operated for switching the antifreeze treatment line and an outlet of the exclusive cleaning line. After completion of the treatment of the antifreeze, the hose at the outlet of the treatment device is connected to a tank of cleaning water, and the valves 5 to 7 are switched. Cleaning (backwash) is performed in the order of the water quality meter 4, the ion exchange resin 3, and the filter 2.

The water temperature can be detected effectively and correctly.

Further the dust collecting electrode 6 is constituted of an electrode member having a damping function and of a sandwich structure in which synthetic resin 11 is pinched between two sheets of conductive plates 6a, 6b. As a result, the electric air cleaner which imparts refreshing sense to the clean air and is excellent in performance and quiet is obtained.
