    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain power at low cost for pumping up fresh water and residual sea water after desalination by installing a reverse-osmosis method sea-water desalination method into the ground and mounting a pumped hydraulic turbine on the downstream side while connecting a generator motor. SOLUTION: Sea water is flowed through a desalination device 4 from a main pipe 10 by the head of an intake 1 and the salination device 4, and passed at a pressure higher than a specified atmospheric pressure. Approximately forty % is treated as fresh water by the flow of the sea water, and fed to an underground fresh-water storage tank 6. On the other hand, sea water not desalted is supplied to a reaction type pumped hydraulic turbine 5 as it is left as it is high-pressure water. A generator motor 13 is turned and driven by the revolution of the pumped hydraulic turbine 5 at that time, and generated electricity is transmitted to an electric power company 18. Consequently, the outside is supplied with power at the same time as the salination of sea water, and sea water discharged from the pumped hydraulic turbine 5 is stored temporarily in an underground sea-water storage tank 7. Sea water in the sea water storage tank 7 is pumped up into a water storage tank 9, and utilized for a salt-making industry, etc. Accordingly, since power obtained in the daytime is used for the electric power company and power pumped up is used at night, facilities having high economical efficiency can be prepared.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promising method for irreducibly minimizing a structure located next door to a danger, since the necessity of atomic power generation is advocated in Japan having little resources.
      SOLUTION: This structure is for generating power by dropping sea water into an underground tunnel when requiring power. By utilizing power left during the night, sea water stored in the underground is returned to the sea. The structure can be made in the underground of a city to be a consumption place in this method. As another utilizing method, the structure can be utilized for preventing flood damage in an ill-drained region in the city at the time of a typhoon and torrential rain. Since the structure can be technically made by technique that Japan has at present, the structure can be easily made if a prospect of fund can be acquired.
