摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent water from leaking into a hull and to manufacture a crawl simply by a method wherein the circumferential wall constituting a crawl is molded in a unitary body with the bottom of the hull. CONSTITUTION:Bulk heads 10 consisting the circumferential walls of the crawl 3 are formed in a unitary body with the hull S by erecting a part of the bottom of the hull S made from FRP. And the bottom plate 12 having both smooth and nearly flat molded surfaces is fitted into step parts 13 fromed at the lower ends of the bulk heads 10 on the lower opening 11 of the crawl 3 so that the bottom plate 12 can agree with the outer shape of the hull bottom 1, and the hull bottom 1 and the bottom plate 12 are fixed by screws 14 on the same surface. On a surface of the bottom plate 12 is erected a partition plate 16 for dividing bait from fish and, moreover, on the bottom plate 12 is provided a crawl port 7 for circulating the water in the crawl 3. 摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the accurate regulation of the quantity of replaced water for a live well without reducing the strength of the body of a boat, by providing a recess on the bottom of the boat under the live well and introducing the water from the recess. CONSTITUTION:A recess 4 is provided on the outside board 1 of the bottom of a boat so that the depth of the recess gently increases from stem to stern. An opening is provided in the wall 12 of the recess 4 which faces the stem. A through metal member 70 connected to a valve 7 is coupled to the opening. The end of a delivery pipe 30, which is laid in a live well 3 along the bottom of the boat in the longitudinal direction thereof, is connected to the valve 7. On the voyage of the boat, water flows along the bottom of the boat as shown by arrows in the figure and collides against the wall 12 facing the stem to increase the pressure on the wall. If the valve 7 is open at that time, the water is supplied into the live well through the delivery pipe 30 and small holes 31.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent plugging of soil, sand and etc. by providing a lower part of a female screw designed to screw in a scupper, with indented channels traversing across a central shaft of the scupper hole. CONSTITUTION:On an internal surface of a scupper hole 26, a female screw 27 is provided so as to screw in a scupper plug 34, and underneath the scupper hole 26 indented channels 28, 29 are provided traversing the female screw 27 in a radial direction across the central shaft of the scupper hole 26. As a consequence, most of sand and dust mixed in the discharged water bypasses indented channels 28, 29, and further portions of soil, sand and dust likely to deposit between threads of a male screw 35 come off moving along lines of threads of the female screw 27 so that they drop in indented channels 28, 29 and discharged along with water. Thus, threads of the female screw 27 are not plugged by soil, sand and dust, and the scupper plug 34 is screwed in an extremely simple and reliable manner.
