SOLUTION: Outputs of an ultrasonic output circuit 5 and a potential output circuit 6 of this compound type electronic therapeutic apparatus are connected to an output terminal 8 through an output switching relay 7. A control circuit 4 controls the relay 7 and, when an ultrasonic wave start signal is inputted into the control circuit 4 from an operating part 2, the relay 7 is switched over to the ultrasonic output circuit 5 to output an ultrasonic wave. When a potential start signal is inputted, the relay 7 is switched over to the potential output circuit 6 to output a high voltage. Thus, the ultrasonic output or the potential output is taken out of one output terminal thereby eliminating the need of operation for switching the connection of a lead cable to any one of output terminals of two systems otherwise required.
