    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a smaller installing space by a method wherein a fixed shaft is mounted on a base behind a seat part lift means at a chair for treatment and a base end part of an Lshaped arm is mounted on the fixed shaft to pivot the arm free to rotate vertically while a doctor unit is mounted at the tip of the arm. SOLUTION: In treatment, a patient is asked to sit on a chair 3 for treatment and after a back rest of the chair 3 is levelled, a doctor unit 7 is pulled to a physician. At this point, a rotary member on which is mounted a base end part of an Lshaped arm 12 with the tip side thereof rising vertically is supported on a fixed shaft through a bearing. An auxiliary arm 15 equipped with the doctor unit 7 at the tip thereof is turnably supported at the upper part of a vertical part of the arm 12 thereby enabling moving of the doctor unit 7 to the optimum position. In addition, the height position of the doctor unit 7 is adjusted by pulling upward a stopper ring provided at a fitted part of both the arms 12 and 15 to extend or reduce the fitted part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease physical burden of a patient by deforming the bottom part of the surface of a seat back in accordance with the posture of the seat back. SOLUTION: A freely elastically deformable metal sheet 31 is provided on a seat back frame 17. A link 33 is provided to a movable rod 18B of a hydraulic cylinder 18 for inclining the seat back frame 17 and when a pushing lever 32 is operated by rotation of this link 33, at ordinary time, the pushing lever 32 pushes the metal sheet 31 from the back side to deform elastically it to the front side. Therefore, the bottom part of the surface of the seat back 9 is curved gently to the front side. When the seat back frame 17 is rotated to the back side to make it approximately horizontal, the pushing lever 32 release the pushing condition of the metal sheet 31. Therefore, the metal sheet 31 is elastically returned back to a flat sheet-like state. In addition, the bottom part of the surface of the seat back 9 is made flat to form approximately the same plane as the surface of the seat bottom 8.
